The Role

We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager to help establish global sourcing strategies for Lovevery’s products in an eco-friendly, cost effective and timely manner. You will be responsible for developing long term partnerships with our suppliers and to either consolidate or expand our sourcing base in line with company objectives. This role will report directly to the Vice President, Sourcing, located in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sourcing, product development, order management, artwork and packaging coordination for Lovevery's products.
  • Work closely with Product Development, Engineering & Quality teams in the US on product launch, engineering order, and shipment monitoring.
  • Research, liaise and identify capable and new vendors from product sourcing to price negotiations.
  • Establish global sourcing strategies to achieve cost targets, reduce lead time, and improve capacity.
  • Actively participate in the development and formulation of sustainable sourcing plan, including a thoughtfully developed vendor matrix that supports immediate to long term growth agenda.
  • Review and plan vendor capacity versus forecast and actual plan.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team and vendors to monitor production process, identity issues and resolve them in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Develop long term business partnerships with vendors and consolidate or expand sourcing base in accordance with the company's development.
  • Frequent travel to factories, in China and other sourcing countries, if necessary.


  • Minimum 5 years experience with a proven track record in a global sourcing role or similar, with substantial experience in complex sourcing and supply planning.
  • Child-focused consumer goods experience required; experience with wood products a plus.
  • Ability to work across global cross functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent project management, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to implement change requirements and ensure commitment of all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to develop processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required, Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed to factories and other suppliers as needed.
  • The candidate needs to be fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua).
